IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE STIMULUS PACKAGE

The impact of the Stimulus package on UI is very complicated and potentially fraught with great potential for overcharges and errors. Please read the attached with an open mind and recognize that PeopleSystems Unemployment Cost Controls and Audit Systems are critical to keeping your UI Costs (Taxes) to a minimum. Also recognize that much of this recently signed legislation is to be paid for by the Federal Government, either with your FUTA Taxes or through the General Trust Funds. However, always remember the slogan, “You’ll either pay me now or you’ll pay me later”!
